Who we visit….
Animal assisted therapy (AAT) visits from the Woolly Therapy team can happen in various settings depending on the specific programme and its goals. These are some of the places we can visit:
1. Hospitals and healthcare facilities: our animal therapy team can visit patients in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers to provide comfort and emotional support.
2. Nursing homes and assisted living facilities: Animals can visit elderly residents to alleviate feelings of loneliness and provide companionship.
3. Schools and educational institutions : AAT programs can be implemented in schools to help students with special needs, behavioural issues or emotional challenges.
4. Counselling and therapy centres : Animals can be present during therapy sessions to create a calming and nonjudgmental atmosphere for clients.
5. Prisons and correctional facilities: AAT programs can be introduced in prisons to aid in the rehabilitation of inmates, promoting emotional well-being and teaching them empathy and responsibility.
6. Community centers and support groups: Animals can visit community centers or support groups to provide emotional support and promote overall well-being.
Care Home, Hospital and Hospice Visits
Woolly Therapy supports the emotional, social, mental health and wellbeing of individuals in local care homes, children's hospitals, nursing homes, and a variety of other facilities with our therapeutic visits from our miniature donkeys and alpacas. We are also available for your home open day and family fun days.
Research has demonstrated that animal assisted therapy can positively affect the health and wellbeing of patients and residents.

Weddings and EVENTS
We offer alpaca and miniature donkeys hire service for weddings and other events. Our alpacas or donkeys can bring joy and charm to your wedding celebrations and create unforgettable memories for you and your guests.
We provide a range of options to suit your specific requirements. You can choose to have the alpacas or donkeys present during the ceremony, for photo opportunities, or even for a fun and interactive experience where guests can feed and interact with them.
